Worthy Products began manufacturing strainers in 1950. Our founder designed and patented a unique strainer - The Original Patented Siphon Strainer - that could be used inside the cup gun or paint pot so that you could "strain while you paint." Worthy Mfg Co is now located in Maxwell, Texas, between Austin and San Antonio.
The original strainer has been modified and improved over our long history of manufacturing Worthy strainers. Our patented strainers are "Made in the U.S.A", and are still the standard in the industry. We make the finest cup gun and pot strainers available in the marketplace, and that keeps our strainers in constant demand by refinishers who truly want to save time, save money, and get a better finish. Everybody knows, "Nobody makes a strainer like a Worthy Strainer."
Taylor has over forty years of business experience, covering many industries. He matriculated to the University of Colorado, and then graduated from Southwest Texas University in 1980. Taylor's first job was in ranching and agriculture. Then Taylor took off in aviation as a crop duster, a flight instructor and aircraft mechanic. He has also worked as a welder, painter, and farm hand. Taylor has an educated, yet "down home" style that comes from his rural roots.
Like Taylor, Ellen's first job was in ranching and agriculture. She has worked double-hard most of her life helping others as a hospital nurse in San Antonio.
As the owners of Worthy Mfg Co, Taylor and Ellen are in a unique position to combine their skills to continue to help others do a better job by providing useful products and helpful tools - making jobs, and life, a little easier. Plus, they are dedicated to keeping Worthy Mfg Co right here in America so we can proudly say "Made in the U.S.A."
